Mission Statement
The Civic Association of Goldsboro (CAG) aims to identify areas of need within our community, organize volunteer efforts to appropriately address these needs, and collaborate with residents to establish a standard of community engagement. The development of volunteer-based projects aims to contribute to and benefit the beauty, history, and sense of community that remains a staple of Goldsboro. CAG serves as an informal organization of neighbors, committed to these principles and its vision of continued community support for present and future residents of our borough.

*As a disclaimer, CAG is not a registered business entity in any capacity whatsoever. We are simply an informal group of individuals who see benefit behind community engagement and volunteering. As a result, we cannot and do not accept donations. Furthermore, anyone is welcomed to attend a meeting as there is no formal membership nor related requirements to attend and participate!

Our group consistently strives to improve our community in a variety of areas, which include, but are not limited to, waste and trash-clean-up, the provision of assistance to residents in need, and through volunteer efforts to ensure aesthetic improvements when appropriate. Should community members pinpoint other sectors that could benefit from CAG's volunteer efforts, we will always strive to contribute to these projects in a meaningful manner.
